Greetings from the Presbytery Finance Committee & Treasurer!
From seasoned veterans to those of us new to church administration and finance, there’s always something to learn; tax law changes, church reporting requirements, insurance issues, budgets, financial reporting, technology and so on. In response, the presbytery is offering a new workshop designed to provide training and resources to help you with the challenges of the work you do.
The workshop will be hosted by Bluffton and Greenfield First Presbyterian Churches. These locations ensure a 50 mile (or less) drive from any church located within our presbytery to reduce travel time and expense. If you serve the church as treasurer, business administrator, elder, pastor or clerk of session – we urge you to invest a day this summer to attend the workshop.
